Highland Park + University Park
In the 30’s and 40’s The Park Cities was one of the earliest residential developments in North Texas. Today, it’s known for being the most expensive area for real estate. Land Values alone are $1,000,000+ in order to access the highly acclaimed K-12 Highland Park Independent School District which is a huge attraction for many residents looking to avoid private school tuition.
The location is arguable the most centrally located in all of Dallas. Uptown, North Park Mall, SMU, Knox Henderson, Snyder Plaza and Downtown are all within close proximity. One can access I-75 and the Dallas North Tollway within minutes.
Highland Park Village is an attractive amenity for residents as it has plenty of high-end retail and restaurants. Dallas Country Club, established in 1896, remains one of the most exclusive country clubs in Texas.
Similar to other neighborhoods, when it comes to Modern Architecture there’s a reasonable amount of Mid Century Modern inventory and an increasing amount of New Construction growing by the year as developers tear down and build.
For those interested in modern architecture inside Highland Park ISD, the entry price tends to be not so modest: $1.8 Million.
